Make-Ahead Pumpkin French Toast

The holiday season is often packed with activities: to-do lists, baking, decorating, and (hopefully) wonderful memories of time with family and friends.  To help keep the focus on "special" and minimize the stress, here's an easy recipe that you can assemble ahead and bake the following morning for a breakfast loaded with seasonal flavors!  I think this dish would be perfect with smoky bacon or grilled ham.

We love assemble-ahead breakfast dishes at the inn. The flavors blend beautifully over-night and casseroles also encourage the cook's creativity based on seasonal ingredients and individual tastes or preferences. I hope you enjoy this recipe featuring pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg that I found on-line and plan on serving this holiday season.
