Ocean City NJ, Tabernacle Hosts the "Annie Moses Band"

Indian Summer Weekend (held annually the second weekend of October) is famous for the Fall Block Party - a shopping extravaganza and street fair - stretching from 5th to 14th Streets along Asbury Avenue in Downtown Ocean City. Featuring 400 craftspeople, plus food, live music, and more, it is always a highly anticipated Fall event on the island.

This year, two new events will add even more excitement to the weekend. First, the Ocean City Tabernacle is hosting the Annie Moses Band in concert at 7:00 PM, at the Tabernacle, 550 Wesley Avenue. The band is comprised of a group of very talented family members who play and sing what they call, "chamber pop - a spicy blend of classical, jazz & pop mixed with some good old country." Tickets may be purchased online or call 609-399-1915 for additional information.

Since 1879, the Ocean City Tabernacle has been offering interfaith religious services during the summertime. The Annie Moses Band Concert will be the final event of the 2010 season until the Christmas Concert on December 11, at 4:00 PM.

The second special event scheduled for Indian Summer Weekend is a spectacular Fireworks Display off the 9th Street Beach at 9:30 PM - don't miss the excitement!

The Scarborough Inn B&B provides ideal Jersey Shore accommodations! Guests will be able to view the Fireworks Display from rockers on our 100-foot wraparound front porch, if they choose, or stroll up to the Boardwalk for a closer look.
